Abstract
The main form of wind energy utilization is wind power,and the wind power generation is directly affected by the wind turbine paddle aerodynamic characteristics.The commonly wind turbine airfoil NACA4415 is numerical simulated and studied by the use of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) software.The aerodynamic characteristics of the wind turbine airfoil are studied.At different angles of attack,the characteristics curve about the lift and drag along with the change of angle of attack are obtained and analyzed.The large angle of attack at 28 degree disturbed flow airfoil flow field is studied on and the flow field distribution in the large attack angle stall is analyzed.
