Abstract

Objective:To synthesize telmisartan and optimize the process. Methods:Telmisartan was synthesized by steps of esterification, acylation, nitration, catalyze hydrogenation,cylization、hydrolysis,condensation,N-alkylation and hydrolysis. Results:Chemical structure of telmisartan was conformed by element analysis,UV,1HNMR and EI etc. Conclusion:This synthetic method was feasible.
