Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of ER,PR and PCNA in endometrial adenocarcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical staining SP method was used to detect the expression of ER,PR and PCNA in 25 cases of normal proliferative endometrium,25 cases of atypical endometrial hyperplasia, and 40 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma. Results The expression of ER and PR in normal proliferative endometrium, atypical endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial adenocarcinoma were decreased gradually(P0.05).Further study showed that there were associations between expressions of them and cell differentiation in endometrial adenocarcinoma(P0.05),but not with the surgery pathological stage(P0.05). The expression of PCNA in normal proliferative endometrium, atypical endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial adenocarcinoma were increased gradually(P0.05),and the expression was associate with the cell differentiation in endometrial adenocarcinoma (P0.05).Negative correlation was found among ER,PR and PCNA expression(r = -0.361,r = -0.441 respectively, P0.05).Conclusion Abnormal expression of ER,PR and PCNA may contribute to the pathogenesis and development of the endometrial adenocarcinoma. There expression may provide information for clinic in choosing endocrine therapy.
