APPLICATION COMPARISION OF EXTERNAL JUGULAR VEIN AND LIMB VEIN DETAINING NEEDLE IN SEVERE TRAUMATIC PATIENTS

Objective To set up effective intravenous accesses more rapidly improving the success survive rate of patients in emergency treatment,compare the effects of external jugular vein and limb superficial vein for indwelling needle.Methods Dividing 250 patients in emergency as two groups,group 1 was used external jugular vein,group 2 are used thigh vein and limb superficial vein,and then make a record of the two groups’ time,one time puncture successful rate,free movement of the liquid,the max liquid flow speed,the average time on elevation of higher blood pressure,etc.Results External jugular vein has the advantage of short time puncture,high success rate of one time puncture,liquid flow well,short time of become higher of blood pressure,liquid could not be leaked,etc.It has absolutely advantages over thigh vein and limb superficial vein(p0.01).Conclusion External jugular vein can better meet the need of fluid infusion,save more time for patient suffering severely wound.External jugular vein has promising application value in emergency department.
