The background of new countryside construction,the connotation of information-based agriculture,the roles of information-based agriculture,and its relationship to the new countryside construction are introduced.The problems of information-based agriculture in the new countryside construction are analyzed.The methods of promoting the new countryside construction by the information-based agriculture are proposed.
