Discussion on the Relation of Building New Countryside and Developing Urban Agriculture

By reviewing the historical background and the tasks principles of building a new countryside in China, this article covers the crucial importance of modern agriculture in the course of building a new countryside, and takes urban agriculture as an example in modern agriculture to explicit its development experience and model of urban agriculture in foreign countries. Taking their developing experiences into account, the article proposes measures to promote the development of urban agriculture, as well as plans of building a new countryside in China.
