Analysis of irrational drug use in outpatient prescriptions in our hospital

Objective To analyze the reason of irrational drug use,and propose the methods which can solve the matter.Methods 8 000 outpatient prescriptions in the 4th quarter were spot checked,and the irrational drug use were analyzed.Results There were 146 prescriptions(1.83%) of irrational drug use,which mainly presented as 9 aspects,such as repeated drug taking and over dose.Conclusion Pharmaceutical theory knowledge study of medical personnel should be strengthened,and the level of medication safety could be advanced.
