Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effects of add and nonadd penetration enhancer onpercutaneous absorption of progesterone cream in vitro. Methods: Using improved Franze disperser and artificial membrane as the cutaneous barrier, and adoption 2%azone, 2%azone+5%trimethylene glycol, 2%azone+dryobalanops camphor as penetration enhancer, and 40% methanol+60% NS as reception liquid, determine progesterone′s unit area accumulate osmolality in different time. Results: 2% azone, 2% azone+5%trimethylene glycol and 2%azone+dryobalanops camphor, were found to have different degree penetration enhancing effect, followed successively by 2%azone+5%trimethylene glycol2%azone+dryobalanops camphor2%azone. Conclusion: single using azone and azone and others all had invariably promote action, but azone and others have the better penetration enhancing effects.
