Abstract

Objective To study the association of lipoprotein lipase Ser447stop gene polymorphisms with cerebral infarction. Methods Use a PCR-RFLP to detect 125 subjects'lipoprotein lipase Ser447stop genotypes(including 62 controls;63 cerebral infarction patients).Detected all the subjects'serum lipids and apolipoproteins levels. Results ①The cerebral infarction group carry C allele 91.27%,G allele 8.73%;the control group carry C allele 80.65%,G allele 19.35%;the ratio of G allele was significantly different among the cerebral infarction group and the control group(P0.05).②The cerebral infarction group had higher TG,LDL-c levels than the control group(P0.05);and the cerebral infarction group had lower CHO,ApoAⅠ,ApoB100 levels than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The lipoprotein lipase Ser447stop gene polymorphism is correlated with cerebral infarction, and the G allele may be a protective factor against cerebral infarction.
