Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of phacoemulsification and IOL implantation for cataract with high myopia. Methods 46 case (46eyes) of cataract with high myopia a(?)cepted phacoemulsification and IOL implantation. The intraoperative and postoperative complications ,postoperative visual acuity were observed. The follow up time was 3 months to 1 year. Results Postoperative visual: ≤0. 1 in6 eyes, 0.12-0.4 in 15 eyes, 0.5-1.0 in25 eyes. The intraoperative and postoperative complications include rupture of posterior capsule (4 eyes) , comeal edema (7 eyes) , posterior capsule opacity(4eyes) , retinal detachment (1 eyes). Conclusion Phacoemulsification with IOL implantant can get better operation result and an ideal and safe operation for cataract patients with high myopia, but require good skill of operation.
