Abstract
Objective To do the clinical observation on phacoemulsification in high myopia with cataract. Methods 85 cases(113 eyes)of high myopia with cataract received phacoemulsification and IOL implantation. Results Postoperative corrected visual acuity:hand movement in 6 eyes,0.1 in 6 eyes,0.12-0.4 in 57 eyes,0.5-0.8 in 34 eyes,≥1.0 in 10 eyes.Intra-operative complications included posterior capsule rupture in 4 eyes, corneal edema in 6 eyes, fudus hemorrhage in 1 eye, iridocyclitis in 6 eyes.No severe complications were found. Conclusion Phacoemulsification with IOL implantation can get better operation result and is also a ideal and safe operation for cataract patients with high myopia.
