Research on data conversion method between AutoCAD and ArcGIS

Abstract

Basing on the characteristics of the data structure of AutoCAD and ArcGIS,this paper reports the method that solves the problem of the data conversion from AutoCAD to GIS without attribute information through applying the information attached to the AutoCAD entity and the ArcGIS data conversion and simple property table operating.This paper indicates the concrete operation method by the investigation,having certain guiding significance for the practical production.
