Abstract
Many dialectal features are recorded by the glossaries of Buddhist sutra and histories in Tang Dynasty. By means of sorting out and analyzing them,we can find out the main outline of dialect area on the whole,and then proceed to observe the levels of phonetic changes,the geographical boundaries of dialect features,the general dialect difference between the north and the south in this Dynasty.
