Abstract

Aspatial model is established for blade curves on the basis of research into the round cross_section milling cutter,which is the most frequently used in high_speed milling.Then forces in milling in discrete units are analyzed according to cutting theory.Finally a three_dimensional model for forces in milling is established,thich could be applied to the determination of the geometric characteristics of milling cutters,milling forces and dynamic milling forces,and which incorporates Fourier variation,linking the above discussion to rotating_speed factors.The model could be used to forecast parameters of the milling process,including stability and milling forces under different rotating_speed scenarios.
