Abstract
In this paper, a mathematical model for vertical milling cutter used in high-speed milling is established. Using the model, the various factors effecting the milling force are analysed, the milling force and the threc-demission component of the forces are calculated theoretically. Using the formula of milling force, the change of the milling force with the change of the cutting speed at the high-speed cutting is predetermined:
