Abstract
The floristic elements and characteristics of rare endangered plants and national key protected plants are analyed in Qinghai province based on the literatures.The results indicate that there are 146 species of rare endangered plants and national key protected plants,belonging to 36 families and 77 genera.The floristic elements are complex,floristic type are showing the typical temperate nature,especially north temperate zone is superior to numbers of speices in Qinghai province.Many species are young and derivatives,also some species are originated in ancient Mediterranean.No endemic families,a few of endemic genera,but there are many endemic speices.
