Dispersive Liquid-liquid Microextraction Coupled with High Performance Liquid Chromatography for the Determination of 2,4-Dichlorophenol in Environmental Water Samples

Abstract

A simple,rapid and effective method,the dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction with high-performance liquid chromatography(DLLME-HPLC),has been developed for the determination of 2,4-dichlorophenol in environmental water samples.The factors relevant to the microextraction efficiency including the type and volume of dispersion agent and extraction solvent,the extraction and centrifugation time,and the salt effect were investigated and optimized.The linear response of this method was in the range of 1~500 μg/L(r=0.9997) with the relative standard deviation(RSD) of 3.8%(n=6) and detection limit of 0.19 μg/L.This method is suitable for the determination of trace amount of 2,4-dichlorophenol in environmental water samples.
