About the Change of Relationship betwee Qing Government and Constitution Construction Group

As an important political force,constitution construction group has played a significant role in the implementation of constitution which Qing government prepared to put forward in the late period of Qing Dynasty.The group also had a brief cooperation with Qing government in the early period of Qing Dynasty.But as the final goal of Qing government's constitution was to keep the imperial power,there always existed differences and contradictions between the constitutional design and operation model made by Qing government and the design made by constitutional construction group,and with the development of the situation,such differences expanded and contradictions intensified,causing the relation between the two to undergo a strange process of change: co-operation-struggle-departure.Finally in the early period of Xinhai Revolution constitution construction group turned to revolution and together with the revolutionary group overthrew Qing government.
