Inspiration of Physical Education Curriculum Reform in Elementary Education of China to Reform of Physical Education Teaching

The unexampled reform of elementary education curriculum is carried out in China. During this upsurge of reform, on the basis of further deepening the original physical education course the goal of health education is extruded in physical education and health curriculum as an important part of the new round of elementary education curriculum reform. Great inspiration was drawn from the health education to the physical education reform, so that reflection and reconstruction had to be made in the aspect of physical education teaching, such as the traditional teaching goal, contents, methods, organization form, teaching evaluation and teacher's training so as to modulate physical education teaching in middle and primarily schools and to suit the requirements of the standard of the new curriculum.
