Effect of tongmai jiangtang baoshen capsule on the streptozocin-induced diabetic rats

Objective To investigate the effect of.tongmaijiangtangbaoshen capsule on the streptozocin-induced diabetic rats.Methods Diabetic model rats was induced by a single ip of streptozotocin(STZ).And then was measured the level of glucose,cholesterol,urea nitrogen,and creatinine,the effect of tongmai jiangtang baoshen capsule was evaluated.Result Tongmai jiangtang baoshen capsule markedly reduced the level of blood glucose,cholesterol,urea nitrogen and creatinine in diabetic rats,which increased significantly in the experimental model.Conclusion Tongmai jiangtang baoshen capsule has the effect of reducing the level of blood glucose 、regulating adipose metabolism disorder,improving renal function.
