Recovery,Development of Agricultural Production and Act of Government at the Beginning of Tang Dynasty

At the beginning of Tang Dynasty,because of the long-term chaos caused by war at late Sui Dynasty,mass exoduses emerged,land was barren,productivity suffered severe damage,agricultural production nearly lied in a dead state.To stabilize social order and restore agricultural economy,the hierarchy of early Tang Dynasty led by Li Shimin carried out a series of policies such as encouraging reclamation,reducing taxes and corvee,simplifying the law,as well as alleviating the punishment.
