Abstract

The capacity emerged early in the field of ecology,that made people aware of the resources were not unlimited with the dramatic increase in population,the shortage of natural resources and the limitation of enjoyment space for human spirit.This paper introduced the history and types of the ecological carrying capacity,and discussed the evaluation models,evaluation indices and related technology development of the ecological carrying capacity.
