Abstract

Objective To discuss the CT features of sacroiliac joint in ankylosing spondylitis(AS) in order to assist clinician in assess the degree of AS and to differentiate AS from other diseases. Materials and Methods The CT features of 68 patients with sacroilitis in AS were analyzed retrospectively.Results The CT features included involved in iliac side mostly, cartilage calcification, joint space narrowing or widen, articular surface and undersurface erosion, ligament calcification.Conclusion Although the CT manifestations of sacroiliac joint in AS are very variable, we could find some characteristics in them.
