Abstract
Refining xylitol was prepared from corncob through the processing of washing,drying,crashing (granularity 3~5 mm),acid hydrolysis,neutralization,evaporation,bleaching,ion exchanging,hydrogenation,concentration and crystallization.The effect of hydrolysis conditions on the yield of xylitol had been investigated by orthogonal test.The optimal parmeters were as follows:the hydrochloric acid concentration 2.0%,hydrolysis pressure 0.1 MPa,temperature 120 ℃,reaction time 4 h.The yield of refining xylitol was 60.2%.
