Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the functional mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine yandiyihaofang (眼底Ⅰ号方) in treatment of retinal vein occlusion METHODS Compared with the mailuoning(脉络宁) injection, effect of yandiyihaofang on auricle microcirculation in the small mice was observed Platelet aggregation ratio and parameter of blood rheology were determined in the big mices with experimental blood occlusion induced with adrenalin RESULTS The blood flow rate was obviously accelerated in auricle blood vessel of rats treated with yandiyihaofang compared with control group, and the blood vessel was dilated, and ratio of artery and vein in diameter was reduced Platelet aggregation was inhibited; whole blood viscosity and blood plasma viscosity were reduced The difference was significant between the treated group and the control group CONCLUSIONS Yandiyihaofang could inhibit platelet aggregation ratio in mice with experimental blood occlusion, and could improve parameter of blood rheology and enhance speed of blood flow in auricle microcirculation of the small mice
