Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention in the recovery of gastrointestinal function for patients with intestinal surgery. Methods The patients for bowel surgery in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 80 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine care, and the intervention group increased perioperative intervention care on the basis of conventional care. The differences of the patients with bowel sound recovery time, anal exhaust time and hospitalization time in the two groups were compared. The incidence of adverse reactions with nausea and vomiting for the two groups at the same time was taken for statistics. Results Compared with control group, the bowel sound recovery time, anal exhaust time and the length of hospital stay in intervention group were significantly shortened(P 0.05).The incidence rate of complication in intervention group was significantly less than that of control group. Conclusion Nursing intervention can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
