A Basic Appraisal of the Government Innovation under the Guidance of the Concept of Scientific Development

This paper summarizes and evaluates the discussion of government innovation centered around the concept of scientific development. The concept of scientific development, as the core idea in China’s government innovation, has deepened the understanding to government innovation and played a guiding role in different government innovation. In China, scientific government innovation should realize amelioration of political system, improve system capacity and meet the requirement of social economic development. At the same time, the tendency to treat innovation as the image project should be avoided.
