Abstract
The effect of the calcium stearate and zinc salts compounded system on processability and thermal stability of PVC,by torque rheometer and whiteness meter.The research showed that Ca/Zn thermal stabilizers had the best comprehensive properties when the ratio of calcium stearate to zinc stearate(by weight) was 5∶4,the dynamic thermal stabilizing time was 767 s,blue whiteness was 45.48 and 37.40 when the processing time was 10 min and 15 min,respectively.Calcium stearate-zinc laurate compound showed the best early-term stability and the blue whiteness was 52.88 when the processing time was 10 min.However,good synergistic stabilizing effects were not observed when zinc stearate,zinc laurate and calcium stearate used together.
