Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of nm23,vascular endothelium growth factor-C(VEGF-C) and biological behavior as well as lymphatic metastasis of gastric carcinoma tissues. Methods The immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of VEGF-C and nm23 in 52 cases of gastric carcinoma tissues. Results The lymphatic metastasis rate in low-expression of nm23 or high-expression of VEGF-C of gastric carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that without lymphatic metastasis tissues(P0.05),however,which was not related with the size of carcinoma,TNM and patients' sex(P0.05).Conclusion The detection of nm23 and VEGF-C expression levels plays an important role in evaluating patients' prognosis and carcinoma metastasis, furthermore, the combined detection of nm23 with VEGF-C has more significant clinical value.
