Abstract
Objective To study the change of semen superoxide dismutase (SOD) and acrosin activity in the sterility of male patients with positive antisperm antibody. Methods The activity of semen superoxide dismutase (SOD) was measured by xanthine oxidase essay and sperm acrosin activity was calculated by BAEE/ADH.Results Compared semen AsAb positive group with normal group, the activity of SOD in semen decreased remarkably, and so did that of acrosomal enzyme. Conclusion The sterility resulting from positive AsAb may be related with the change of semen SOD and acrosin activity.
