Clinical observation of "Yigan Jiedu Decoction" in treating nonalcoholic steatohepatitis of phlegm and blood-stasis accumulation

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of Yigan Jiedu Decoction in the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis of phlegm and blood-stasis accumulation.Methods Ninety cases were selected and randomly divided into two groups: treatment group in which 45 cases were treated with routine therapy and Yigan Jiedu Decoction,and control group in which 45 cases were treated with routine therapy and silymarin,with a course of two months.The changes of syndrome scores,hepatic function and blood fat were observed,and the clinical efficacy was assessed.Results The overall effective rate was in the treatment group and control group were 75.56% and 51.11% respectively,with a significance between them(P0.01).There were significant differences in syndrome scores and the levels of ALT,AST and GGT between before and after treatments in both groups and between the two groups(P0.05,P0.01);but there was no statistical significance in levels of TG and TC between before and after treatment or between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Yigan Jiedu Decoction is effective for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis of phlegm and blood-stasis accumulation and improve the hepatic function.
