Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical use of glass fiber-reinforced post core for residual crown and root of anterior tooth to provide some consults for clinical work. Method:Thirty-one patients with thirty-seven teeth of residual crown and root of anterior tooth were selected and restored with glass fiber-reinforced post core and porcelain-fuse-to-mental crown after completely root canal therapy. Result:With 3 to 23 months following study,The retention、marginal adaptation and periodontal tissue of the dental prosthetic restoration of thirty-six teeth were satisfactory, one tooth failed for crown loose. Conclusion:The glass fiber-reinforced post core in the restoration for anterior tooth can provide better effect of retention and esthetics.
