Information Sharing Mode of Reducing Bullwhip Effect in Supply Chain

Abstract

Information sharing is one of the most important ways to reduce Bullwhip Effect. Among the different kind of information types,the paper introduces three of them which influence Bullwhip Effect greatly.They are sales information,forecasting and inventory information.Based on the three types of information,the paper puts forward six modes of information sharing,that is EPOS,E-Shopping,VMI,CF,CP and CPFR.
