Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of valsartan associated with indapamide for elderly systolic hypertension. Methods Totally 146 elderly systolic hypertension patients: indapamide 2. 5mg + valerianlosartan 80mg qd. Ambulatory blood pressure were measured before and after 2 weeks results. Results Two weeks later, the blood pressure of 84. 25% patients were up to standardand the result was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion The indapamide united valsartan have good antihypertensive effect to systolic hypertension patients.
