Abstract

A method for the determination of imidacloprid residue in tea was established by HPLC with UV detector. The tea sample is extracted by methyl alcohol, reextracted by dichloromethane, cleaned up by Florisil column, elutedby Petroleum ether-ethyl acetate, The proposed method is precise and selective with recovery of more than 86.7% andlimit of determination of 0.03mg/kg.
