Abstract
In this paper, based on the theoretical analysis of influencing factors for farmers' willingness to participate in agricultural insurance, logistic regression model is established for the survey data of 503 households in Chongqing, and the study shows that the factors on the farmers such as sex, age, educational level, level of household net income, risk expectation for natural disasters, expectation for agriculture product prices, insurance payment levels and efficiency of insurance payment affect the willingness to participate in the agricultural insurance significantly,in which risk expectation for natural disasters and expectation for agriculture product prices are the most important ones, while the non-agriculture income level and government subsidies have no significant influence on the farmers' willingness.
