Study on Agricultural Insurance Demand Willingness of Different Kinds of Farmers

Based on the household survey data in Jilin province,this paper classified farmers according to ratio of agricultural income to total income,then built the Logistic model to analyze the main influencing factors of different kinds of farmers′ demand willingness to agricultural insurance and the differences.The results showed that the household net income level affected pure agricultural farmers′ demand willingness for agricultural insurance to some extent.For the other three types of farmers,the income level was not a main influencing factor,they focused more on the understanding of the importance of agricultural insurance,satisfaction to agricultural insurance services and their role in promoting agricultural production.For non-agricultural farmers,no factors could affect their agricultural insurance demand willingness.
