Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathologic signification of Survivin in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (ESCC). Method: The expression of Survivin in 80 ESCC was measured by immunohistochemistry. Results: The positive rate of Survivin expressions was 65%. The positive rate of Survivin had a positive correlation with lymph node metastasis and the clinical stage (P0.05). The positive rate of Survivin was also positively correlated with the degree of ESCC differentiation (P0.05). Conclusion: Survivin was higherly expressed in ESCC than in normal esophageal tissues, and was closely related to lymph node metastasis.
