At present,the income gap between the residents of rural and urban area exists and has the tendency of furthering.From the perspective of the development of world economy,the income gap is the result of industrialization and also the definite phenomena for the economy transition.This paper analyzes the special reasons of the income gap and puts forward the idea of the development and harmony of rural and urban area.
