On Wordsworth's Concept of Poetic Language

Abstract
William Wordsworth is a leading figure of English Romanticism.He creates a new era of poetry with simple and pure poetic language.His poetic theory has helped to develop the characteristics of the19th century English romantic poetry,and further exercised great influence upon the successive poets.This paper discusses Wordsworth's concept of poetic language through a comparative analysis of the poetics and poems of Pope and Coleridge.
