Poetic Features in the Translation of English Poetry

Abstract

Poetic translation mainly deals with poetic form,essence and language.Among the three elements,poetic language bridges poetic essence and form.Therefore,poetic language is the most important element in poetic translation.Rhythm,the choice of diction and rhetoric comprise the poetic language.The poetic language should be carefully researched and explored in order to make the poetic translation accurate,perfect and lifelike.
