The Balance between Conservatism and Liberalism——A Stylistic Survey of Wordsworth's Poetic Language

Leech divided literary language into the conservative and liberal types,based on which the present paper did a stylistic survey of Wordsworth's poetic language from various perspectives,such as vocabulary,grammar,sound and rhyme,etc.,thus getting the conclusion that Wordsworth had managed to strive a balance between the conservative and liberal features of his poetic wordings.
