A comparison between the China Communist Party and the ruling parties in the West

Abstract: There are four differences between the CPC and the ruling parties in the West: in the respect of governmental power gaining, the CPC obtained the power by revolutionary war, while the ruling parties win by elections; in the respect of administrating the government, the CPC is full participator, while the ruling parties are only partially involved. In the aspect of the mode in integrating society, the CPC is the authoritative one, while the ruling parties are the one with authority. In the aspect of relationship with the other parties, the CPC is cooperative, while the ruling parties are in competition with others. These four differences can be simply summarized as one point: the CPC is a leadership party and is not just a ruling party in a general sense. All the ruling parties in the West do not possess the characteristics of the kind. As long as the CPC respects the society-ruling laws of the human society, the law of the market economy, of regime functions, of society self-motivated movement, it can lead the nation and society to initiate the new phase of the Chinese-characteristic socialist cause.
