Abstract

A binuclear complex {[Cu2(C7H19N3O)2(C10H8N2)](ClO4)4·H2O} was synthesized based on the reaction of copper perchlorate hexahydrate,1-[bis(aminoethyl) amino]-2-propanol and 4,4'-bipyridyl in methanol medium.It's structure was characterized by IR spectrum,elemental analysis and thermal analysis.The crystal structure of the title compound was also determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction.The crystal belongs to crystal Monoclinic system with space group P21/n and crystallographic data are:a=0.927 65(11) nm,b=1.678 2(3) nm,c=1.315 97(13) nm,β=97.748(2) °,V=2.029 9(4) nm3,Dc=1.671 g·cm-3,μ=1.394 mm-1,Z=2,F(000) =1 052.CCDC:692297.
