Impact on Bibliography of Development of Historiography during Wei-Jin Dynasty

The historiography develops during the Wei Jin Dynasty because of various reasons such as the special attention paid by the rulers, the popular history study of individual scholars and the abundance of history writings. As a result, bibliography works come out one after another, and the change of bibliography records and classification take place correspondingly. Six Category of Qi Lue,the early Chinese bibliography compiled and edited by Liu Xin in Han Dynasty, develops gradually into Four Category ofNew Book by Xun Xu in Jin Dynasty. The Four Category of Xin Bu is set finally the most influential categorized method in the bibliography history.
