The Documental Value of the Bibliography in Writers' Biography in Zhong Zhou Collection

Zhong Zhou Collection was one of the most important literatures in researching the literatures of Jin Dynasty, and it is also the earliest collection of poetry and prose of Jin Dynasty existing currently. The author of the Collection was Yuan Haowen, the greatest historian and writer of Yuan Dynasty. To each writer he gave detailed description including their nickname, birth place, official title, life experiences and so on. At the same time, it recorded many poems and works of Jin Dynasty, which provided us with the first-hand information in doing research of the real history of the literature of Jin Dynasty. The successors compiled Yi Wen Zhi by using the resources of writers' biography.
