Abstract
Objective:To explore the level of interleukin-6(IL-6) with multiple myeloma(MM) and analyze relation with bone lesion. Method:37 MM patients, including 0 score 10, 1 score 6, 2 score 8, 3 score 11.8 solid tumor following bone metastasis and 17 control. The IL-6 was analyzed with ELISA. Result:①Serum IL-6 concentrations of patients with multiple myeloma and solid tumor were significantly elevated in comparison to the controls (P0.05); ②The values of IL-6 showed greatly different according to bone lesion scores(P0.05); ③Clinical parameters serum calcium had significant difference between normal group and abnormal group about IL-6(P0.05). Conclusion:The levels of IL-6 is increasing with MM, and the values of IL-6 is related to severity of bone lesion.
