Abstract

N-methylmorpholine, as the extraction solvent in aromatics plant, would come into the toluene product in micro-scale amount. Influence of N-methylmorpholine in C_9 aromatics feed on behaviors of ZA-92 catalyst for toluene disproportionation and transalkylation were investigated. The results showed that , with N-methylmorpholine content in the feed 10010~(-6)(mass fraction), activity of the catalyst saw little declining after 24 h of reaction at 3.0 MPa, 385 , WHSV 1.5 h~(-1) and n(H_2)/n(F)=(6.7/1); with 50 10~(-6)(mass fraction) N-methylmorpholine in the feed, activity of the catalyst declined remarkably after reaction for 500 h. N-methylmorpholine content in the C_9 feed should be well under control to keep high catalyst activity of the catalyst.
