Abstract

In order to study the residual characteristic and safety of abamectin in apple,a field experiment and laboratory testing were conducted to reveal residual degradation dynamics and the final residues of abamectin in fruit and soil. The results showed that the half-life of abamectin in fruit and soil were 3.6 to 4.9 d and 1.3 to 1.7 d respectively;residue degradation rate in fruit at 14 d after application was above 88%,and it was above 69% in soil at 3 d after application. When the apple was sprayed 2 to 3 times with 6 and 9 mg·kg-1(a.i.) of abamectin(10% CS),the last application was done 15 d before harvesting, the residue of abamectin in the harvested fruit was lower than 0.02 mg·kg-1(MRL).It is suggested that the preharvest interval of abamectin in apply is 15 d.
