Abstract

Objective:To study and evaluate the therapeutical effect and security of artifical liver plasma exhange(PE) on severe gestational hepatopathy.Methods:14 pregnant women with acute fatty liver and 31 pregnant women with severe hepatitis were all treated with PE,their alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL),director bilirubin(DBIL),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),reatinine(Cr),total protein(TP),white blood cell(WBC),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and prothromin time(PT) were measured before and after PE,respectively. The relationship between the times of plasma exchange and effect after PE was observed. Results:The liver and renal function, symptoms and physical sign of most patients recovered completely after PE.Leucocyte count decrease obviously(P0.05),but PT,APTT,Hb,PLT didn't(P0.05),167 times treatment by PE were given to 45 pregnant women,3.7 times on average,21 women accepted PE for 3 to 4 times(46.7%),The effective rate was 70.0% after accepting 4 times treatment consecutively. Conclusion:The PE treatment for severe hepatopathy in pregnant women is effective and safe. It's not only contribute to less complication but also prevent the disease development when applied consecutively in early stage.
